Copper the Corgi

Copper begging for bacon.

Copper is going to obedience training today and he still struggles with “stay”. He has a hard time controlling his corgi urges. I hope he nails it when they start throwing toys around. Wish him luck!

I was curious, do any of you creative minds out there have a suggestion on what Copper’s AKC name should be? I’m stumped haha.

back problems are actually common for corgis. just follow what the vet says to do and make sure you are holding your corgi correctly/giving him the right support, etc. and dont do too many walks where its inclined grounds. the stubby legs are cute on corgis, but they do lead to problems in their bodies sadly.

I know that they were common because of their anatomy, but I never imagined he would actually have a problem. He took a round of steroids prescribed by the vet and he seems to be a better now. So hopefully all is well.

Just took Copper to the vet today because his back was hurting him and apparently he might have a problem with the discs in his back. :( I dunno what to do! Any one who’s owned a corgi before have this problem?

If anyone was wondering, Copper’s face is back to normal and he’s back to his playful old self :)
